    Licensed Professional Counselor

Hi, I’m Jamie. I wanted to share a little about my background to give you a sense of the experience I bring to the therapeutic relationship.

I started my work in the helping field in school settings, supporting children on the autism spectrum with their educational, emotional, and physical needs. That early work sparked a deep passion for this field, which led me to earn a Bachelor’s in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Arcadia University, with a focus on school and child/adolescent counseling.

Over the past 18 years, I’ve worked in both community mental health and school environments, providing counseling, therapy, and case management to children ages 4–21 and their families. For the past 7 years, I’ve been in a supervisory role, helping guide and support staff who work directly with clients in a variety of settings.

Outside of work, I’m a mom, a nature lover, a self-proclaimed couch potato, and an empath at heart. Helping others is a core part of who I am.

  • Barb Aiello, MS, LPC

    Licensed Professional Counselor

Hi, I’m Barb Aiello. I have spent my career supporting children and families as they navigate the social, emotional, and academic challenges that come with growing up. As an elementary school counselor, I work with students every day who are learning how to manage big feelings, build friendships, and develop confidence in themselves. When a child is struggling with anxiety, friendships, attention, or grief, it can be hard to know how to help. My goal is to provide a supportive space where children can build coping skills, confidence, and emotional understanding.
I have years of experience working with children who are experiencing anxiety, ADHD, social challenges, executive function challenges, and grief. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps children understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while learning practical coping skills they can use in everyday life.
I believe every child benefits from having a safe space where they feel heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to create a warm, comfortable environment where children can explore their feelings, build resilience, and develop the tools they need to thrive both in and outside of school.
In addition to my counseling work, I also teach graduate students in a school counseling program, helping prepare future counselors to support the next generation of students. Supporting children’s growth, both directly and through training future counselors, is truly the heart of my work.
